Yup, I am not much of a gardener. I'm big on perennials, fer sure. My friend Janet came over last weekend and we built this flower garden around my first Christmas Tree (that came in a tiny pot and I planted before the real freeze ten years ago- first xmas in the house). We planted Irises and Daylilies that my friend Kara gave me from her yard.
BTW, Janet has a great kids' play-space business called
Wiggles and Giggles. Check it out.
Looks like a bunch of dirt and stone now, but it'll fill up I'm sure.
And then, the guys who are refurb-ing a house across the street, who gave me the stones they dug up from the yard, gave me THIS for my future gardening exploits! Sweet!
