NYC Water Tanks...a possible dream house.

I saw this outside the window of my 50th Street room at the Amsterdam Court (nice reasonable place to stay for a weekend NYC jaunt, btw).  Even  tho I've seen these all my live and often pondered them (size? how they're made? who still makes them? (a company in Bklyn) can I have one?) I now dream of dragging one to the woods and retooling it to house me and my kitty.  Ahhh, nice.  I particularly love how this one is cantilevered and seems so precariously positioned.  Sweet.
